Bianco IGT 448 slm from Girlan is a fresh, aromatic white wine from Alto Adige. The name refers to the 448-metre altitude of the vineyards. It is a blend of traditional Alto Adige varieties, which may include Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon and Gewürztraminer, vinified to preserve aroma and freshness with fermentation and brief ageing in stainless steel. Pale straw yellow with bright reflections, it has a fragrant bouquet of white-fleshed fruit, field flowers, aromatic herbs and light minerality. Vivacious and fresh on the palate, with good acidity, a clean refreshing finish and pleasant aromatic persistence. Ideal as an aperitif or with light dishes, salads, fish and seafood.
