Big T is a five-year-old blended Scotch whisky from Tomatin, bottled in the 1960s or 1970s in a 75cl bottle. It was positioned as an approachable blend, and has a pale gold colour with a light amber tint.
The nose offers malt sweetness, honey and barley sugar, with apple, pear and a little apricot, then vanilla, oak, a faint waxy note and a whisper of smoke. The palate is light-bodied and rounded, with sweet malt, vanilla fudge, heather honey and a touch of citrus. The finish is medium, with sweet grain, vanilla and a little oak spice.
