Bigi Sartiano Rosso Umbria IGT

A red wine from Bigi, made mainly from Merlot and Sangiovese, expressing the Umbrian terroir. It is deep ruby red with violet reflections. The nose shows ripe red fruits such as cherries and plums, sweet spice and a light vanilla note from wood ageing. On the palate it is solid yet harmonious, with well-integrated soft tannins and a long, fruity, spicy finish. It suits red meat, game and aged cheeses, and can be enjoyed now or aged.
