Grechetto Umbria IGT - Bigi

A Grechetto from Umbria IGT, made by Bigi. It shows a bright straw-yellow colour with aromas of ripe pear, white flowers, a hint of citrus peel, herbal notes and bitter almond. The palate is medium-bodied, supported by good acidity and savouriness, with a clean finish recalling white fruit and a subtle minerality. It suits simple, well-prepared tables: vegetable first courses, grilled fish, shellfish, white meats and semi-aged cheeses. Serve chilled in a wide glass.
