Rosso Umbria IGT 'Tamante' from Bigi is a red wine from Umbria, Italy, made mainly from Sangiovese with other local and international varieties. It has a vivid ruby colour with violet reflections. The nose shows red fruits such as cherry and blackberry, with spicy notes and a light vegetal touch. On the palate it is medium-bodied, with soft, well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity, leaving a persistent finish with ripe fruit and spice. It pairs with pasta with meat sauces, red or white meat dishes, medium-aged cheeses and aperitifs.
