Apogee XII is a blended malt from the London-based Bimber Distillery, combining Highland and Speyside single malts aged for at least 12 years.
After blending, the whisky went back into ex-bourbon casks that had previously held Bimber's own single malt, giving the components more time to marry.
It is described as having notes of vanilla, honey, orchard fruits, gentle oak and warming spice.
