Bimber London Single Malt Bourbon Cask Batch 4 (70cl, 51.2%)

This is Batch 4 of the Bimber Ex-Bourbon Small Batch, a London single malt vermatched from some of the distillery's oldest first-fill ex-bourbon casks. The American oak casks were filled in 2017. The whisky was bottled in March 2023 at 51.2% ABV, in an outturn of 7,000 bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The nose brings fresh apricot and nectarine, fresh bread and a little vanilla. On the palate it is soft and full, with gentle caramel, vanilla and light spice, while the fruit steps back. The finish is long and soft, with fruit, grain and sweetness.
