This is a single cask malt from Bimber, the independent distillery in west London, selected for the Antipodes collection. Cask 440 was filled in 2019 with new make that matured in an Oloroso sherry hogshead. It was bottled in 2024 at a cask strength of 59.1%, and 285 bottles of 70cl were filled. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose offers almond and walnut with lemon and a salty touch, then clove, nutmeg and cardamom. The palate brings salted caramel, vanilla and malt alongside lemon, pineapple, pear and plum, with pepper. The long finish moves from pear and apple to walnut, with vanilla and honey.
