Bimber – Peated PX Sherry Cask #458 Germany Edition 2023 (59.4%)

This is a peated English single malt from Bimber, a craft distillery in London, matured in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask, number 458. It is the Germany Edition 2023, bottled at 59.4% ABV. Bimber uses regional single-farm barley and floor-malted grain, with a seven-day fermentation and two direct-fired pot stills. Its fully peated whisky is new from spring 2023. Peat is brought from Aberdeenshire to London to dry the malt in the distillery's own kiln. The character is smoky and fruity.
