A single cask peated malt from Bimber, the independent distillery in west London. It matured in Moscatel sherry cask no. 465 for the Foundations bottling. Distilled in 2019, it is bottled at 58.5% in a 70cl bottle, with 301 bottles in the outturn. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Smoke sits alongside fruit and sweetness, with earthy and floral notes in the aroma.
The nose opens with damp earth, dried flowers and ash, then rose petals, candied orange, Russian leather and incense. On the palate, heather honey, figs and raisins meet oily peat, tar and a light medicinal spice. The long finish starts spicy and medicinal before a sweet coconut milk note appears.
