Apogee XII is a 12-year-old blended malt from Bimber. It combines Scotch single malts from the Highlands and Speyside, which were brought to London and matured in casks that had held Bimber's own single malt.
The glass of the bottle is a tribute to the hand-beaten copper of the distillery's stills. The whisky is bottled at 46.3% with no artificial colouring.
Cooked apple, kiwi and orange lead the nose, with vanilla and floral notes. The palate shows orange juice and yellow fruit before anise, pepper, malt and hazelnuts. The finish is long, fruity and honeyed.
