Bimber Re-Charred Oak Cask Batch 2 is a London single malt, bottled by the distillery in 2026 at 51.7% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The whisky matured in American oak casks that Bimber re-charred on site, which renews the inner layer of wood, caramelises the wood sugars and leaves a layer of char. The distillery uses barley from a single farm and mashes by hand.
The nose combines spicy oak and vanilla with soft toast and subtle fruit. The palate is full-bodied and sweet, with wood spice and a firm oak structure. The finish is warm, dry and long, with a slightly nutty note.
