Bimber Single Cask #172 The Spirit of the Underground - Oxford Circus (70cl)

This is a single cask English single malt from Bimber, one of 261 bottles, drawn from an American oak ex-bourbon cask. It celebrates Oxford Circus tube station and comes in a 70cl bottle. The station opened to the public on 30th July 1900 as part of the first section of the Central Line, between Shepherd's Bush and Bank. The nose is charred pineapple chunks and toffee-covered apples with shortbread, rolled pastry, condensed milk and creamy caffe latte. The palate is full bodied, with dried mango, lemon and ginger jelly, toffee bonbons and piquant wood spice. The finish is sweet and sour tropical fruit with dusty nutmeg.
