Bimber – The 1st Release

Bimber The 1st Release is the first single malt from the Bimber distillery in Park Royal, west London, released in September 2019. It was the first whisky both distilled and bottled in London for over a century. It is one of 1000 bottles, drawn from a selected batch of ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. The distillery's first casks were laid down on 26 May 2016. It uses barley from a single producer, floor maltings and slow fermentation, and distils in a 1,000-litre wash still and a 600-litre spirit still made by Hoga of Spain.
