Bimber – The 1st Release

Bimber The 1st Release is the inaugural single malt from the Bimber distillery in Park Royal, west London, first released in September 2019. It was the first whisky both distilled and bottled in London for over a century. The release totals 1000 bottles, made from a chosen batch of ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. The first casks were laid down on 26 May 2016. The distillery buys all its barley from one producer, uses floor maltings and slow fermentation, and distils in a 1,000-litre wash still and a 600-litre spirit still made by Hoga of Spain.
