Bivrost Heimdallr (50cl, 50%)

Bivrost Heimdallr is a single malt in the Æsirs Series, bottled at 50% in a 50cl bottle and aged between four and six years. Most of it was first matured in ex-rye casks, then finished for one year in seasoned Amontillado sherry casks. A portion matured in bourbon casks, and a small part was aged in Amburana, a Brazilian wood sometimes called teak. Each release in the series carries original artwork. For Heimdallr, Bivrost worked with the Polish artist Hubert Wilczewski, whose illustration shows Heimdallr sounding the Gjallarhorn to mark the start of Ragnarök. The release is 8,212 bottles worldwide.
