Black Bull Kyloe Sherry Finish is a blended Scotch whisky, made from malt and grain whiskies and bottled at 50% ABV, or 100 proof. It has an extra period of maturation in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, and it is bottled without colouring or chill-filtration.
The nose brings orchard fruit, milk chocolate, sultanas and a little herbal tea, with soft sherry notes and sweetly toasted oak. On the palate, stewed stone fruit and baked apple meet honey and oak spice, with vanilla and a touch of leather developing over time. The finish is long and sweeter than the palate, with gingerbread spice, creamy caramel and a gentle, woody pepper.
