Black Velvet is a Canadian blended whisky in a 1 litre bottle, bottled at 40%. It is a blend of distilled and matured Canadian whiskies, and was once called Schenley Black Label before being renamed for its exceptional softness.
On the nose it is mild, with fruit and spice over subtle vanilla, cinnamon, oak and sweet honey. The palate is very soft and silky, with gentle spice and citrus that turn to honey, oak and vanilla. The finish is soft.
