This is an 11 year old Ardmore from Blind Summit, bottled at a cask strength of 57.6% without chill filtration or added colour.
The whisky spent ten years in a refill bourbon barrel before being re-racked on 6 July 2025 into virgin oak. Ardmore is lightly peated, and the virgin oak adds sweet smoke, spice and a creamy texture.
The nose offers toast, sweet smoke, burnt orange marmalade, chocolate and charcoal, with toasted almonds and apricot beneath. The palate is creamy and full-bodied, with cinnamon and ginger spice. The finish is warm and lingering.
