Blue Run Emerald is a cask strength Kentucky straight rye whiskey, and the second rye release from Blue Run. It was contract distilled at Castle & Key in Frankfort, Kentucky.
This is a limited collection, made from just 189 barrels. It leans into the spicy character of rye while aiming for the approachability and depth of an aged bourbon. It follows Blue Run's earlier Golden Rye.
