Boduen XO is an Armenian brandy in a 70cl bottle, aged for 10 years in oak barrels. Spirits of 10 years make up the blend, with 25% of 20-year-old spirits added. The colour is a deep mahogany.
The nose is complex, with dried pear and fig, candied orange and vanilla, softened by gentle oriental spice. Elsewhere in the aromas come floral and fruity touches, tobacco, prunes, liquorice and caramel. On the palate it is rich and deep, with nectarine and peach giving way to light almond and walnut. The aftertaste is long and warming.
