Bols Genever Jonge is a Dutch genever from the Bols distillery. Genever is the forerunner of modern gin, and Jonge means 'young' in Dutch, which makes this version lighter and fresher than the older styles.
The nose is delicate, with juniper to the fore, subtle herbal touches and a little malt. The palate is soft and balanced, combining juniper with citrus and a touch of spice, with a velvety texture. The finish is clean and fresh.
It can be drunk neat, lightly chilled or over ice, and works in a Dutch Mule or a Gin and Tonic.
