Bombay Sapphire East London Dry Gin (75cl, 42%)

Bombay Sapphire East is a London dry gin that builds on the Bombay Sapphire vapour-infusion method and its ten botanicals, adding Thai lemongrass and Vietnamese black peppercorns for twelve in total. It is distilled at Laverstoke Mill in Hampshire. In vapour infusion the botanicals never touch the spirit; only the rising vapours pass through them. The lemongrass adds citrus brightness, while the black pepper brings a gentle heat and a spicier character. The nose is bright and aromatic, with citrus, juniper and coriander. The palate is smooth, with citrus and juniper and a subtle heat building mid-palate. The finish is crisp, with lingering warm pepper.
