Booker's Bourbon 7 Years 1 Month (65%)

Booker's 7 Year 1 Month is a small-batch bourbon from Jim Beam, bottled at its natural cask strength of 65% without chill filtration. It matured for seven years and one month in new, heavily toasted American oak on the middle floors of the rickhouses. It follows the method of Booker Noe, former master distiller at Jim Beam and grandson of its founder. The mash is mostly corn, with rye and malted barley. The nose offers vanilla, caramel, toasted oak and nuts. On the palate come sweet corn, caramel, pepper, oak and tobacco, and the finish is long, warm and spicy with wood.
