This is a 10 year old Bowmore from Islay, bottled in 2016 at 46% in a 1 litre bottle. It was first released as a travel exclusive and takes its inspiration from the Devil's Casks releases. The name comes from a legend of the devil hiding in the distillery's warehouse.
The whisky was matured for ten years in oloroso sherry casks and red wine barriques.
The nose is led by sherry and peat, with plums and spice. The palate brings dark fruits, sherry and leather. The finish has plums and peat smoke, with oranges and raisins.
