This is Bowmore 12 Year Old, a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle and sold with a box. It is part of the Islay distillery's core range.
The whisky is matured in hand-selected American oak ex-Bourbon casks together with European oak Oloroso sherry casks. The two are paired to give the whisky its character, and the distillery regards it as the benchmark of its house style.
