Bowmore 12 Year Old Sherry Oak is a single malt from the Bowmore distillery on Loch Indaal, Islay, founded in 1779. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is moderately peated and matured for twelve years in sherry casks, with a strong Oloroso influence. Peat smoke sits alongside the dried fruit and spice of the sherry, a pairing that has begun to integrate at this age.
