Bowmore 25 Year Old Small Batch Release is an Islay single malt from the distillery on Loch Indaal, founded in 1779. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The whisky has matured for 25 years and is drawn from a small batch of selected casks. Moderate peat and a maritime character define the distillery, and here the peat is described as well integrated with the sherry cask and the coastal character, so the smoke supports rather than leads.
