This is a 14-year-old Bowmore single malt from Islay, part of the Travel Exclusive Series. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and was finished in a Bordeaux wine barrique.
The nose is mainly fruity, with ripe cherries and red berries, alongside salty, mineral and smoky notes. The palate starts elegantly with light fruit, then adds salt and mineral touches, white pepper, oak, spice and dried fruit. The finish brings more smoke, pepper and bitter chocolate.
