This is Bowmore 18 Year Old, the distillery's Fèis Ìle release for 2023. It was launched in June of that year for Islay's annual festival, after maturation in oloroso and PX sherry casks, and is bottled at 52.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Only 3,500 bottles were produced. Bowmore sits in the centre of Islay and keeps its own floor maltings, which supply 40% of its needs, giving a medium peated spirit.
