This is a 25 year old single malt from Bowmore on Islay, bottled by Hunter Laing as part of its Old & Rare Platinum range. It is a single cask release, drawn from a refill hogshead. The whisky matured in that hogshead from December 1987 until August 2013, and the cask produced 226 bottles. Hunter Laing is the company created when the Laing brothers at Douglas Laing went their separate ways.
