This is Bowmore 20 Year Old, a distillery exclusive single malt bottled at 50.7%. It is a deeply coloured whisky, released in 2020 in honour of David Simpson, the founder of the distillery.
It spent 15 years in Oloroso sherry butts, followed by 5 years in Pedro Ximenez casks. Only 6000 bottles were released, as a limited edition.
