Bowmore 25 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 43% ABV. It was matured for more than two decades in a mix of American bourbon casks and Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, combining maritime smoke with sherry sweetness.
The nose offers toasted oak, dry sherry, dark chocolate and gentle peat smoke. The palate is creamy, with layers of dried fruit, caramel, smoke and spice. The finish is long and soft, with lasting warmth, sweetness and a light maritime saltiness.
