A Bowmore De Luxe single malt from Islay, bottled in the 1970s in a one-litre bottle. It was intended for duty free sale to people flying out of the UK. The whisky was distilled in the 1960s, a period many regard as a high point for Bowmore. The De Luxe bottlings have come to be seen as the best standard distillery-bottled Bowmores of the last four decades, and a striking contrast to the entry-level bottlings of the 1990s and 2000s.
