Bowmore – Vault Edition Second Release (70cl)

Bowmore Vault Edition Second Release is an Islay single malt from Bowmore, Scotland's oldest licensed distillery. It is the second release in the Vault Edition series and puts the emphasis on peat smoke. The whisky is matured in the No. 1 Vaults, a cellar below sea level on the shores of Loch Indaal, where temperatures stay cool and humidity is high. The nose is peat smoke with dark chocolate, sea spray and ripe orchard fruit. The palate is smoky, with salted caramel, medicinal herbs and citrus zest. The finish is very long and warming, with lingering peat, spice and sea salt.
