Bowsaw American Bourbon (70cl, 40%)

Bowsaw American Bourbon is a straight bourbon from Kentucky, distilled and matured in Owensboro and Louisville near the Ohio River. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle and was first released in 2020. The mash bill is 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% malted barley. It is aged in new American oak barrels with a number 4 char, and it is non-chill-filtered with no colouring or additives. The nose offers baked apple, clove and leather. On the palate come allspice, toffee and milk chocolate, and the finish brings vanilla, walnuts and mint.
