This is a 14 year old Lowland blended grain Scotch whisky from Brave New Spirits, made from mature grain whiskies produced at North British and Cameronbridge distilleries. It is part of Batch #3 of the Whisky of Voodoo series and was bottled at 58.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was influenced by first-fill St. Emilion Grand Cru wine casks and Jerez sherry casks.
The nose offers fruit compote, sweet red fruit, orange zest, buttery shortbread and subtle herbal notes. On the palate, rich red fruit and toasted nuts develop alongside citrus, menthol, basil and warming spice. The finish is long and warming, with lingering fruit, toasted nuts, herbal freshness and drying spice.
