Bruichladdich – 14 Year Old Château Haut-Brion Finish Golf Links Carnoustie (70cl, 46%)

A 14-year-old Bruichladdich from Jim McEwan's Links series, dedicated to Carnoustie Golf Links and illustrated by golf artist Graeme W. Baxter. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, from an outturn of 12,000 bottles. The whisky was matured first in bourbon casks, then given an extended finish in Château Haut-Brion wine casks from the Bordeaux First Growth estate. The wine adds dark berries, plum and gentle spice to the unpeated Bruichladdich spirit. Honeyed malt, citrus and maritime freshness remain part of its character.
