It matured in a single bourbon barrel, #2589, which produced 245 bottles for the Archives collection The Fishes of Samoa.
The nose offers farmhouse butter, heather, orange oil, watermelon sweets and a discreet hint of smoke. The palate has soft liquorice, orange ice cream, peach, honey, shortbread and a chalky touch. The finish is long, with vanilla, gentle spice, chocolate mint and ripe fruit.
