This is the second edition of Bruichladdich's 18 year old, an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle. It matures in ex-Bourbon barrels made of American oak. The whisky is then finished in Jurançon wine casks from the Clos Uroulat vineyard in the French Pyrenees, which previously held Petit Manseng, a white wine grape grown at high altitude. The nose is fruity and spicy, with melon, papaya, passion fruit, berries, honey, vanilla and oak. On the palate there are tropical and citrus fruits with raisins, vanilla and sweet malt, followed by a long, fruity finish.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
