This is a 25-year-old Bruichladdich single malt, bottled by Douglas Laing at 50.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose opens sweetly with barley and caramel and spiced, caramelised apples. The palate is clean and crisp, lightly spiced and sweet, balanced by an appealing woody character. The finish is long, with subtle oak and a little sweet tobacco.
