This is a 32 year old Bruichladdich from Islay, distilled in October 1991 and bottled in April 2024 by Duncan Taylor. It comes from a single oak cask, number 972969, and was filled into 277 bottles at a cask strength of 45.4%. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
On the nose there is vanilla and caramelised fruit with a touch of sea salt. The palate is smooth and full, with dried fruit, honey, gentle spice and the sweetness of malted barley. The finish is long and warming, with oak and a faint trace of smoke in the background.
