Islay Barley is an annual Bruichladdich release made with barley grown entirely on Islay. This single malt comes in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV.
It was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2021, having matured in American oak casks and wine casks.
The nose is led by vanilla, orange, sea air and grasses. The palate has an oily texture with citrus fruit, vanilla, fennel, ginger, oak and apricots. The finish is medium in length, with both fresh and sweet notes.
