A 14-year-old single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle as part of the Links bottlings, this one named for the 18th green at Royal Troon. Pedro Ximénez has a strong influence on its character.
The nose is fruity, with juicy fruit, baked apples, strawberries and melon alongside vanilla, flower honey, fresh malt and a hint of leather. The palate is creamy, setting oak and malt against light and dark fruit such as raisins and figs, with touches of citrus, cereal and a light coastal saltiness.
The finish is long, sweet and oaky, leaving a warm, clean and slightly dry feel.
