A 16 year old single malt from Bruichladdich, from the Links series and named for The Vancouver Golf Club in Canada. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose shows a clear influence of Bordeaux wine, with fresh red grapes, honey, ripe apples and a delicate touch of vanilla. The palate is generous and rich in body, full of dark fruit: ripe figs, black cherries, a hint of pomegranate and fresh wild berries.
The finish is long and comforting, returning to honey and sweet vanilla.
