Bruichladdich – Micro-Provenance Single Cask #4047 15 Year Old (70cl, 60.5%)

This is a single cask Bruichladdich from the Micro-Provenance series, an ongoing run of casks chosen to look at the small influences on Islay single malt. Cask #4047 was distilled on 17 December 2008 and bottled on 10 April 2024, at 15 years old and 60.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The series is built around the many variables that shape flavour in a single malt: barley type, growing region, humidity, climate, distillation, cask, age and location. Each is treated as one part of the whole, with none counted greater than the others.
