Bruichladdich – Octomore 13.1 (70cl)

Bruichladdich Octomore 13.1 is a heavily peated Islay single malt from edition 13 of the Octomore series, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled from the 2015 harvest of 100% Scottish Mainland barley, malted to 137.3 PPM, and matured in American oak casks. The nose is floral and malty, with the peat smoke kept in the background. On the palate, sweet American oak gives way to dry, earthy smoke.
