Bruichladdich – Octomore Edition 13.1 (70cl, 59.2%)

Octomore Edition 13.1 is an Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at 59.2% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from 100% malted barley dried over peat smoke, which gives the Octomore series its heavily smoky character. The texture is full and oily. The nose combines smoke with sea breeze, citrus, vanilla and a hint of sweet caramel. On the palate come heavy smoke, black pepper, sweet honey, roasted nuts and a touch of sea salt.
