A 10 year old Port Charlotte, the heavily peated single malt from Bruichladdich, peated to around 40 ppm. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was distilled, matured and bottled entirely on Islay. Maturation took place in ex-American whiskey casks and French wine casks.
The nose shows peat smoke with hints of fruit and cream. The palate is smoky and salty with seaweed, and the finish is medium long with some woody peat.
