The Classic Laddie 10 Year Old is an unpeated Bruichladdich single malt in which every whisky is at least ten years old. It is made from 100% Scottish barley, matured entirely on Islay and bottled at 50%, with no chill-filtration and no added colour.
Master blender Adam Hannett writes a separate recipe for each batch, drawing on selected cask types and whiskies from different distillation years.
The nose brings ripe orchard fruit, toasted oak and blossom, with lemon peel, orange and sea freshness. The palate is smooth and round, with sweet orange, barley sugar, marzipan, coconut and a pinch of salt. The finish is mineral and maritime, with stone fruit and citrus.
